What a total mess!

The club dont tell the trust whats going on, The trust go off trying to please everyone but upset the club, the club wants money from the trust to pay the clubs debts, The club wont get off their big fat butt to bring in their own sponsorship - but when the trust asks to help get sponsorship the get told to butt out, the fans who put their hands in the money have no regular communication from the trust to where the money has gone - has it gone to the club or outside parties or is it still there for a rainy day!?!?

I think you can see why I am not renewing my membership.

And if you offer to try to help the club gain sponsorship you get told politely to go f**k yourself (As myself and Andrew S found out)And to be quite honest that attitude pi$$ed me off a lot and although i get as many people down as possible and support the trustwhen possible I can see why people get dejected and pissed off at the club. The Trust is obviously an entirley different entitiy to the CLUB (Something that still needs explianing at times!) But lets be honest the Trust would NEVER be able to support the CLUB if Mr Deaner pulls the plug. So what is the main aim of the trust? Not a rhetorical question i really want to know, is it to advertise the club, help the club financially, or to improve the image of the club? Cos in many peoples eyes it seems to be all three and i cannot see that as a possibility without an extra few thousand members- which we wont get...

I think to put it in a nutshell the only place where our next fixture can be seen (CORRECTLY- SO THIS KNOCKS OUT THE OBSERVER) Is inside the ground! Or in the programme! Which is pretty [****!!****] useless if we are looking to get new people in. We need AD boards in SLOUGH- not fixture list- which are very regularly wrong due to date changes etc- and then the next question if ALLAH pops down and clicks his fingers and these appear who would keep them up to date? The trust or club? I agree with our frequently rude, aggressive and pissed Nibbler- The organisation of the club is shoddy- At best. Ians idea of co-ordinating the trust events is great- and Gary has done his best to get correct fixtures out to the wider audience but until the Club (whose job this should be -decides to do it themselves- its always going to be awkward) No criticism of Roy- who i reckon does a stirling job but we need someone in charge of fixtures someone in charge of charity stuff etc etc....and more importantly some offical liason between the club and trust!

If i have offended anyone sorry- but i feel like the trust is currently trying to climb everest whilst wearing rollerskates. Doing the best they can with no support.

PS: Whats happened to Mr Evans?

PPS: And colnbrook? Pie in the sky?

Front page of the website and the fixtures page on the website. Star FM are also getting a lot better at mentioning our weekend matches (I'm presuming they get this straight from the site)

only frequently? The more people get pissed off by whatever the trust is or isn't doing - and I'm sorry sponsoring one junior team, organising a piss up at the Polish club and sending a few token donations to other clubs doesn't sound like promoting the club in the community - the lack of direction the club's owners obviously don't have is going to start affecting the product on the pitch. And when we're playing in Ryman Division 2 in front of 60 people, that token donation of a bouquet of flowers to Crap Village XI is going to all seem worth it isn't it?

another thing that pisses me off about this club is that there are people offering the club money to help running the club and the owners are telling them to go f*ck themselves! What sort of crack smoking tw*t is in charge? We're trying to alleviate his personal contributions to help the club keep going (aside from forking money out left, right and centre), forging links with commerce in the town and he says no?

Sponsorship would have to be the main thing bugging me about the club too.

We're halfway through the season and the club doesn't have a principal shirt sponsor definitely agreed yet. Other clubs at out level (and below) manage it, and they represent towns much smaller in size than Slough, and many without the kinds of large companies we see operating in Slough.

I don't think the fact that we're playing outside the borough is much of an excuse. There's plenty of opportunity out there. Now, one would think that those in charge would welcome help in securing sponsorship, but to be told to butt out is well out of order. An organised team, perhaps, targeting certain businesses may well have some success (something's got to be better than nothing) - so I find it incredible that the help of individuals has been turned away. I'd love to know the reasons why.

If anyone out there has a decent head for business and can help find sponsorship locally, then they should be encouraged all the way.
