General Meeting

Following tonight's Board Meeting it has been decided to call a general meeting of all trust members. This has largely been prompted by recent postings on this and the main messageboard and is to keep the members informed. The meeting is likely to be sometime in October. In accordance with our rules members are required to have 14 days notice and the details will be given in the first newsletter which will be sent out to all members.

 

This is a good opportunity to remind people that membership is due for renewal for the 2005/6.

I'll get it put onto the trust website in addition to it being on here. The whole point of setting up this forum was so that Trust matters could be addressed separately, so putting it on the main forum defies the point of having this one.

Another thing, are the board happy with doing a mail merge with the newsletter? It's an autmoated process for mass mailings - happy to help with this if required....

We have something arranged for the printing of the newsletter and we are looking to combine it with another mail shot. I think Chris has the Trust mail outs covered but will have a word.

OK, the mail merge facility within Microsoft Office has the capability of personalising each letter and automating the printing of envelopes (as we did with the season ticket mail outs).

 

Happy to run through this with someone if required as it's quite straightforward.
