Trust transparancy

Is it possible the Trust meeting minutes and decisions made, be put on the website and in the programme? If people can see the trust is doing stuff, they might then decide to join.

I heard £25 has been given to Dover as a good will gesture from the Trust - i agree with this, but will there be anything in next weeks programme saying it has happened and why?

On another note, can we have a discussion about making more kids for a quids day, and also start dishing out free tickets to local schools.

Personal opinion here, becuase I have not spoken with anyone else on the board yet.

Free tickets or kids for a quid is a great idea that has worked well before. However, the trust runs parallel to the club and any decision about incentives and offers is really one for the club. We can of course put forward a suggestion. This may work better with contacts in schools to ensure the idea works well - obviously with Marcus being a teacher, Chopper working at Wexham and Mrs. Sliski also being a teacher we have good links. I am sure Roy will want to continue to benefit from the good publicity by attracting more supporters.

As for transparency and publishing minutes. I think it is a very good idea. I will be raising this at the next board meeting.

As much as Trust transparency, I think we could do with a bit of Club transparency as well.

What has happened to Mr Deaner? What has happened to the meeting he promised to hold with the fans? What has happened to the new Board of Directors on which he promised a Trust Director? Are any of the people appearing in the Director's box from week to week sponsors or potential Directors? Why hasn't FRUS published its accounts? If we are up to date with the Rent payments, why do we keep getting sly digs from Windsor Fans? Is anything happening as a contingency plan for the 2006/7 season, as we certainly won't have a new ground by then? If Mr Deaner is not getting involved in the Club anymore, who has picked up the reins of the battle with the council on behalf of the club? What are the other FRUS Directors, Jonathon Freese and Bernard Devine doing? So many questions, so few answers.......

Fair points Andrew.

The only question I can answer is that Bernard has been around the club a lot in recent times and did a lot of work for our big cup games.

On a positive note - see kids for a quid post on the main forum.
