Blimey Gary, That was quick to get this up and running!

This is great - I hope that many people will use this to develop the Trust and its ideals. I was delighted to see the other suggestions that you have actioned - you obviously had these in mind before my post - so really well done all involved.

Perhaps we could also hear from the current committee if there is anything they are really concerned about developing in the short and long term and what help they think they will need.

I must admit, I've only acted on the points you've made Andrew and tried to put htem in place ASAP. Some quicker than others as you can see! As a site admin for the Non League UK site, I can set new forums up, and this one was a practice being my first!

I would hope that Chris S and Ian will be able to lead the way with posts regarding Trust updates on this forum, and that it will also be heavily used for suggestions on fundraising ideas etc.

This is an answer from me and not necessarily the opinion of the Trust or anyone other than myself but we should only ever consider doing that if we are totally serious. It shouldn't be done as a fall back position or as a threat to Martyn Deaner, Slough Borough Council or anyone else.

Something like that should only ever be done with proper consultation and dialogue with all key stakeholders, not least of all the supporters of Slough Town Football Club. Who would run it? Who would pay for it?

And, as BFR rightly points out, Chris cannot make that decision in isolation. The Trust is a democratically run organisation that requires agreement from its members before anything like that can happen.

I'd rather we focus our energies at this time on ensuring that the current Slough Town Football Club progresses with the Trust acting as the catalyst. If at some stage in the future there is no alternative but to consider reforming then it should be done following very careful consideration and consultation.
