B&H was a Legend back in his Canvey days. He recently graced Park Lane with his presence for Steve Ward's Testimonial match.

I feel he's rated up there with other ex-Canvey greats like: Alan Brett, Steve Tilson, Steve Porter, Mick Bodley etc.

Played on the right wing and scored some great goals from what I can remember, almost breaking the goal with a super strike at Aveley during a Cup Final.

Harding was a good player and well liked by the fans, played on the wing and would have been a lot faster if he had given up his B&H.

Almost won the freedom of Canvey by scoring the winner against Brighton in the FA Cup but their keeper just managed to push it around the post.

You must remeber Alan Harding. Long pony-tail in the early days and when he ran, he had the appearance of leaning backwards.

Class player and if he had got more service he would have scored/created more goals.

Very tricky winger. Good dribbling skills. With his long hair he reminded me of David Ginola.
