Sid - I've been asked by a few people about what kinds of 'traditional' pub games will be played, could you draw up a list and post instructions on how to play the various card games etc for people that don't know.

The games are:

Darts, Crib, Dominoes, Shove ha'penny and Bagatelle (which is a pre-electric pinball game).

Each team needs at least four players because four play in each round from each team.

The first round is darts and all teams play in it. After that, each team plays doubles at two games so if you have a squad you can pick your two best players for each event.

The actual games played in each round won't be known until the start because it varies with the number of teams competing, but generally speaking each team plays each game, and each other team, at least once.

If you can't put together a full team it is still worth turning up because other teams may be short.

If you want to practice any of these games come to the Crispin any night.
