The bottom line is that it does not matter who watches the game the point is that the ramsgate stewards were not doing their jobs properly and that is why they had to get the police involved.

Indeed, it was Ramsgate's responsibility to deal with the problem. How is it that Margate have seen sense to segregate any such games which could encourage lowlife along but Ramsgate's couldn't. End of subject please. This is a Margate forum FF and you are hijacking a thread. F-OFF.

Police were called after a Wealdstone fan urinated on the back of the main stand (right next to the toilets which were available), he was chucked out by the stewards, then police were called after rumours of a pitch invasion at the final whistle. This came to nothing. And it was prompt action from the club. So thanks for further backing up my point that Margate are professional about handling their games.

If I remember correctly, Chris Kinnear urinated at the side of the main stand at Southwood, when Margate played Cray in the Kent Cup last year. I don't remember the Margate fans calling the police on that occasion - lol!

The Wimbledon game will be good a time for the regular supporters to do their bit. If they see anything that may LEAD to trouble we need to bring it to the attention of the stewards BEFORE it starts. Sorry about the Cookie post with the capitals!! lol

Yeah, I know there were a number of us who have volunteered to be more aware of whats going on off the pitch at home games so we can help the stewards who are going to be stretched and Im sure we'll do our bit to make sure everything runs smoothly.

lol yeah i remember but the wealdstone fans were not just ejected for urinating they were also being physically and verbally abusive to fans and stewards.
