Hi

Does anyone have any news etc of players who played around this time. I played for the club and remember playing in the Berks & Bucks Cup Final in 1964. Some of the names I remember are:-

Mickey Hill, Colin Owen, Colin Newbold, Eddie Badcock, Ken Lunnon, John Millbanks. Our manager was Charlie Jackson who had lived and coached in Holland. He took us on tour there.I live in Canada so any news would be appreciated.

Hi Michael,

 

I knew one of those players, Colin Owen, very well as he was a very good friend and colleague of my fathers.

 

Unfortunately Colin passed away a couple of years ago.

 

If I can find anything out about his playing days then I will forward it onto you.
