Working in Austria and not getting back in time for match yesterday I would like to know please who were the successful(and any unsuccessful) penalty takers as it is good to know for the future that we have people who can take them and score !

Leigh Mason, Glen Harris, Matt Seedel, Michael Alexis & one other all hit very good penalties as did the four Chesham scorers. Penalties and match highlights should be online this evening and each penalty taker was announced.

Had a quick word with Hodgey after the match and he said he went over on his ankle and has strained the ligaments. Kevin McGoldrick thinks he'll be out for ten days, but Hodgey wants to be playing against Margate, but I think it might come a bit too early for him sadly.

The penalties were all excellent save for the one that was blasted into the middle of the great park by the Chesham No. 2. Disappointing that with playing time running well over two hours we could not get past a very poor Chesham side who fielded a lot of youngsters. That said we worked hard and created a fair few chances and could and should have won this comfortably.

I may have been watching a different game(!), but apart from one pass in extra-time, his goal and penalty Alexis was pretty poor and did not work hard enough like he has been recently.

MOM between Masters and McCleary who looked lively.

Alexis MOM by a mile. Held the centre of midfield and sprayed some terrific passes around.

Hon mention for Seedal who had a much better game than I've seen for a while, plus where does Andy Ballard get his energy from? He could have had 2 or 3 goals from a box to box performance. Once he improves his touch he'll be sensational.

Spoke to Chesham supporters and they've had some problems of late, they've virtually changed their team over the past 3 months. We think we've got problems! (At least they've got a ground).

Agree with Gary, I thought Masters made some great saves to keep us in it and Alexis distributed the ball very well. Again I thought Avery had another good solid game at the back.

Seedal played as well as i have seen him play all season but with Hodgey possibly missing a couple of games Seedal needs to find some form.

Mason never put put a foot wrong yesterday either. Although he did only come on for the last 2 minutes of extra time and to take a penalty. <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

It's always nice to win but I have to question whether it made sense to play our strongest team.

It sounds like a marathon of a match on what I assume was a muddy pitch and with only 2 days to recover before playing on (looking at the weather)a heavy pitch again, must take it's toll on the players legs.

And then there's the injury that Hodgey's picked up, without him scoring goals will be difficult.

Being that we've got a virtual six pointer against Margate on Saturday I question whether playing the first team in the B&B was the correct decision?

Given the fact we've gone out in the two main cup competitions quite early (FA Cup & FA Trophy) I would like to think the club would be looking at doing well in the two remaining cup competitions to try and keep a bit of life in our season, so I'm quite pleased with that, although not pleased that it went into extra time, let alone penalties.

I would also have thought they will not be training tonight, or not training heavily at least, to help the players recover ahead of Saturday.

It is not exactly as if we are blessed with the biggest squad in the world anyway. Beyond those on the bench I can only really think of Wilko who has featured for the first team this season. It is highly likley that many of our Capital League squad would have been ineligible in any event so I am not sure Eddie had much "choice" in the matter.

my dad has the B&B handbook and it turns out the ref lives just outside chesham. maybe thats why he gave them loads of freekicks for nothing.

do we know who we will face next? MK dons or Marlow?
