As if you lot could afford him lol. Anyway this is a Margate forum. Not sure if he would add anything for us as we already have a good attacking midfielder in Brayley. And would AH have the legs to play deeper? Certainly as a coach he would be excellent but money would be an issue surely.

Very optimistic,Andy has left a club playing in level 3,and managed the same club in level 2 of the english game,i would be surprised if he would drop to a team that's struggling in level 7,and i have taken into account his age .

funny you mention him. I work in a pub in Herne Bay and one of my regulars today said they heard a radio interview with him and apparently we were mentioned, as he wants to stay local. Never say never is what I say

Rams played Gills in a friendly 5 or 6 years back, lost 5-0 or 5-1 I think. After the game the Rams players said none of the Gills players were that outstanding, just better stamina, but Hessenthaler was different class, couldn't touch him. He'd be the ideal person for Margate, but probably as manager not assistant.

If we're building for the future I don't see how he would be of any use. Think we've got midfielders better than him already. Some of our more pesamistic supporters may think he'd be a good manager for us but Chris is bit by bit piecing things together and will get it right.

AS ah lives in the Meopham area I do not think we could be called local maybe he thinks the drive to Bromley/Beckenham for Millwall/Crystal Palace would be better.

I think training takes place in the Dartford area, so only once fortnightly visits to Margate, anyway, football and travel go hand in hand!!

Hornet earlier asked the question if we are building for the future then why get AH? or something along them lines. Well here is a possible answer. For the younger players to learn they need experienced players to teach and help them along the way.

He could do a very good job for us as a manager. Thats if we didnt have CK obviously. Financially not way out of our league I wouldnt think. Dont want to get involved in personal stuff but he surely wouldnt want much more than CK is on or maybe the same.

Player/assistant would be perfect for Margate.

Think of all the experience he would bring with him,all the possible contacts he would have gained over the years.

JK is in this role,so why not AH instead?
