Who pays the bill?

Having passed by Stonebridge Road between two and a half and three hours after our away games at Dagenham and Boreham Wood had ended, I was struck on both occasions by the fact that our floodlights were on. Presumably Dartford had played there during the afternoon. As I would imagine that the consumption of electricity for any floodlights is significant, why aren't they turned off after the game has finished and the supporters have left? Do the Darts pay a share of our presumably massive electricity bill and does anyone care less about saving energy at the club? If they don't then why not?
