So we have seen Terry Angus in the papers recently with Nuneaton, Westy come on yesterday and Wednesday we are likely to be playing against Danny Bailey!!!!!

Southern League Premier Division club Chesham United have signed veteran 41-year-old midfielder Danny Bailey.

 

The Leyton-born player began his career as an apprentice with Bournemouth. He subsequently made two Football League appearances before making one appearance for Torquay United, sixty-four for Exeter City, fifty for Reading, three on loan for Fulham and a further one hundred and fifty-two for Exeter.

 

Bailey’s career in the Football League concluded in 1996 and since then he has had spells with the likes of Slough Town, Telford United, Forest Green Rovers, Bath City and Weymouth.

 

More recently, Bailey (pictured) has been turning out for Stansted in the Westview Essex Senior League in between stints of coaching.

 

He will make Wilko look as young as Theo Walcott on Wednesday night! Can't believe he's still playing!
