I think he must have. Despite his admirable attempts to clean up the game, I am afraid his comments will make him as employable as Marc Bosman.

We all know that there are (allegedly) many dodgy deals done between agents and clubs, but to come out and say what he has without hard evidence is not a great addition to one's CV.

And on a personal note, why do players need agents? Is it because most of them are too thick to negotiate their own deals. It is not as if they are pushed for time during the week is it?

I agree. I feel he has shot himself in the foot a bit.

someone has to sort something out coz you have agents bleeding the game dry,mind you if some of these footballers weren't so thick they could negotiate their own deals!

in my days you was signing the contract and the chairman would put the amount.there is no trust anymore and there are a lot of greedy people around,agents and players included <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/crazy.gif" alt="" />
