EFM's Ryman League Table of Dislike

Nothing better to do today, so I thought I'd work out which teams we dislike the most, on the following basis.....

 

QT = Quality of team (0-5pts)

 

AF = Arrogance of fans (0-5pts)

 

EFM = Run-ins with the firm (5pts per run-in)

 

ES = Are they in Essex? (5pts if yes)

This table obviously has some flaws in it (B Woooood near the bottom??) so if anyone can think of some more ideas to add to it, we'll do so.

 

 

* Stortford get 5 points for being in Essex (we know they're not but it seems to wind their fans up for some reason!!)

 

* Unable to award points to certain teams for Arrogance of fans, cos they don't actually have any (Enfield, Ford Utd, Purfleet etc.)

I would suggest local county rivalry. IE Woood, and next season Stevenage if we don't go up. Points should be awarded 5 for the likes of Woood, 1 for Hitchin. I can't think of any others at the moment.

How about an Overbearing Stewards section or is that included in the 'run-ins' column?

I did include it in the run-ins column (see Kingstonian/Bedford)

 

I'm not sure I've given Canvey enough points in that section to be honest though. There was the time Costello got smacked down the park, the Trophy game where they shut the bar, the same game where Costello got smacked again, the league match last season where Griffiths got into a scuffle, the time they had 4 police vans at Park Lane......

Bedford aren't doing to bad for a pub team that we've only played once or twice.

There was that incident last season with Bin Fadhel, and also, they have a far too inflated sense of their own self-importance. They were bloody mouthy when they beat us on penalties in the Full Members about three years ago too. I mean, the Full Members for heaven's sake. Who gives one??

I have family from Essex, and your all cnuts(lol) i can't guarentee point 1, but does annoying you with my witty, repetitive chants for all the time we attack the GGL end count?

Agree with the assessment of Bedford too! Great place for a piss up, but their fans seem to have the impression they watch Brazil every week. <img src="/forums/images/icons/wink.gif" alt="" />

mmm 2 teams break away at the top... canvey steal an early lead..we are therefore gauranteed to finish second..this means one of two things..

1. at park you will recieve free beer , be allowed to sit in the dug outs and we applaud a stunning 5 nil albans win..

or

2. one of you is going to get killed at the rec

You may of noticed I'm catching up on the weeks post. This is quality - I'm dead chuffed I racked up a lot of them EFM points and as far as Aylesbury are concerned I've singly handly taken them onto the brink of Euro-rucks.

 

Couple of points - When did we run-in with Billericay or Purfleet and how do Harrow justify a arrogance point???

I remember someone getting a bit nasty with one of their players in our bar. Last year after Gibbo's first Saturday game. What else? Use false names to protect the guilty parties.
