Trophy Thoughts......

A Non E Mouse

Looks like Salisbury are going to be without their top scorer and have a few other possible doubts.

Local Daily Echo

I'm sure we won't underestimate a team who are top of their division and I'd go for the same shape and side as played against Accrington but with Duffers back in the side on the left in place of Clarke.

DP - Goal

Sterling, Wardy, Mcghee and Chennery

Sedgemore, Mints ,Noto

Keeling, Hallett, Duffers

I think it'll be close but I'm going for a 2-0 to the Gulls.

PS - anyone know whats happened to Tait and Bimson - I presume they are out injured. Anybody know anything?

I'd be surprised if anyone chose the right formation tomorrow:

Bearing in mind they may not be as potent up front as they could be (if that's right), wonder if it might be a 3-5-2 line up.

Could be:

Potter
Ward, Sterling, Chennery
Kennedy, Sedgemore, Minton, Duffy, Keeling
Hallett, Tait

But wouldn't be surprised if it was totally different to that!

I would still prefer a 4-4-2 as a bit of insurance at the back.

I feel we should play our strongest available side but i wouldn`t start Tait or Ibe unless they are 100% fit. I can see Duffy coming back into defence but haven`t got a clue who`s place he`ll take and i think Kennedy will replace Noto.

I`d like to be able to leave Minton out because (according to the BBC website) he`s on 4 bookings but i can`t see that happening.

It`s certainly a game we should (Burnham ) win but we`ll have to be up for it from kick-off.

So many positive thoughts on this thread, but nobody taking Salisbury for granted; very healthy.

Would like to see a big crowd today but somehow I doubt it. I think the club ought to host a big debate about how we increase our fan base but I won't hold my breath.

Big crowd or small, I know the Yellow Army will give it some wellie - you are a credit to our club, well done all of you. Let's look forward to making our visitors welcome and giving them an enjoyable day out, regarless of the result. It would be brilliant to look on their forum tomorrow morning and read comments saying what a great bunch the Canvey fans are, just like we said about the Stanleys.

I'll go with Richard's line up and the score? 3 - 1 to Canvey, Hallet getting a hat-trick.

Not going to predict the team but a 3-1 win to Canvey.

You could try www.bbc.co.uk/essex and click on Listen Live . They are bound to give out the Canvey scores but the downside is you will probably get match coverage of Southend.

The Sky Sports Live Score Centre might have them as the come in, or at least hopefully the half/full time results.

They don't have a page dedicated to FA Trophy though which is appalling considering you can get French, Spanish and Italian live scores on there!

I'd go with Glen's line-up, only Duffy on the bench instead of Hallett's clone.

Hallett was so quick against Grays I was sure there had to be 2 of them!
