I got my wish a proven scorer at our level who I've seen play - he is a good acquisition.

Think Amaoko and him a bit similar though - we shall see. Still he will if he stays fit get us goals, and if you study the league table that is our nemesis. Defensively we very sound in comparison to those around us.

Thanks GRAEME for getting the thread back on course.Heard also that a defender and a midfielder were being looked at so hopefully more aquisitions soon.Hope they are "class acts" like Brayley & Hockton.But obviously finances may prevent that for the moment.But you never know!The jigsaw is coming together at last.Only two prize fighters at present but there could be a knock on effect from this in that other talented players will see the target we are aiming at and sign too,even though opportunities could give them football higher up the pyramid.

I must add though that the players we have at present are by no means poor players, and with these two experienced players at higher level now arriving things can rub off onto them and make them better players because of that.

You know what my feelings on Sessay are.I still believe with him out wide on one side and Adolph out wide on the other they would be the perfect accompliament for Danny.Between the two of them,with their speed and trickery they will be the perfect service providers for Danny to finish off.

[color:"blue"] Agree with MM, Lawrence Yiga was enthusiastic and keen to make chances (from what I remember of him) though perhaps a little too highly strung from his dismissals. He probably won't make the starting line-up (believe it will be Adolph alongside Danny), but he'll be fighting <not literally I hope <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />> for a start in the not-too-distant future.

From what I found on the net about Lawrence Yiga I don't think he's really a striker, despite his height. Seems to be more of a winger / wide midfielder.

Really liked the look of Yiga when he's come on as sub and thought him and Adolph combined well together and were a right handful for defences to cope with ( a sort of Toshack / Keegan partnership ) with Adolph being the perfect foil for the big man.

How about a three pronged attack and with Bertie's quality just behind them we might start blitzing a few teams ( apologies to the easily offended types for the Adolph / Blitzing references in this post ).

KP does read this forum on a daily basis and i am sure he would love to talk to you. As for our new signing,YES,YES,YES.Onwards and upwards.As for the new signing,YES,YES,YES.With Yiga's pace back the new Eire u23 boy(in his own words 4 goals in his last 6)we are becoming to look like a pacy team with a lot of goal potential. I am not going to speculate as to who will not be with us on saterday,but i believe a few will join Charlie Taylor on the road out.I hav'nt read the press as yet today so am in the dark.
