I was right alongside the tunnel at the end of the Rush Green match, and there was one RFC aged gentlemen really mouthing off at the referee - I was less than three feet away, but it was next to impossible to hear what he was saying, due to the volume of applause from the Urchins supporters as the team came over to them.

 

However I did not get the impression that he was being appreciative of her performance, which surprised me as she had a good game.

 

But for abuse the winner is Newport County where there was a massive amount of abuse aimed at the lady referee last year, in particular by some semi-literate female who sat just behind us in the stand - and she was encouraging her young son (aged about seven) to do the same. Have you ever heard a seven year old calling a referee a f***** lesbian bitch - did he even know what he was shouting?

no zody.......I spoke to you for 2 minutes before kick off...I heard every word from the officials in the home directors box and my 84 year old mother was appalled....it was a disgraceful display of abuse and personal vilification...even I came in for some of it....

 

I also instigated the removal of the sexist and disgracefully abusive post on our forum from another of your officials aimed at the female referee...

 

can you comment on mine and stanleys posts please....given your policies on racist matters and equal opportunities....

I seem to remember the abuse on here was directed at Nicola and I for one stuck up for her, mainly coming from Urchin fans, plus I think the story of verbal would have been heard if Romford had won the day but coming from the visiting supporters

Alison chapman did our game in the Valleys last season, also our match at Wemberlee about 4 years ago where she was superb, incidentally Danny Cowley scored at Wemberlee that year in a 4 0 win.

The Rumford referette wasn't bad apart from maybe the last 10 minutes but for consistency she gets good marks.

At least she didn't say to one of her linos"Did you see that?"

there was no abuse on here zody...only a question of IF the ref had the experience to deal with the game...as it turned out she did and we all said so and congratulated her....

 

no mate...the only abuse came from your directors box and from one of your officials on here later that night....

Uncle, I do not agree with a lot of your contentious posts all of which I read along with the others on here but I agree with you in these matters. Incidentally, it has just dawned on me, is this Zody character that is ruining the credibility of our football club the same person that left the Zodiac youth team set up under a huge cloud?

uncle urchin zody will not answer because if he did he would put his club in the poo poo.he is new to the game and is very blinkerd where romford is concered.i think he post`s without thinking and i would bet 100% the romford bigwigs cringe at most of his post`s

 

i followed romford for many year1s home and away and spent good money watching them.i was at the romford hornchurch game and i would like to 2nd everything you have said.i also see the deleted post`s and like you i was disgusted by them.

 

we all like our teams to win and sometimes hate the team that beat them but all said and done its a game and after an hour or two its old news.zody i ask you to stand up and be counted you are 1st to post`s and talk your mind but if it`s wrong it`s wrong be a man and say so

moon one further point, perhaps my high standards were noticed by the FA and rewarded with the Charter Standard Regional Award and parents didnt want to up hold them where I was constanley wanting to improve things further
