Hardly any info - just "one down", "one all" etc. No goalscorers, goal times.

I was doing it. It's a pain to be honest and but if anyone really wants to know more detail perhaps attending the game is a better option.

Yes. But because I have a habit of attending a large percentage of games, I get texts continually asking me for details when I'm trying to watch the match. I was hoping the live updates would be the end of those but it seems that only you and Webbo use it! Oh and Nil-nil-Phil of course.

Well, I for one appreciate the updates - most useful when I'm at home and not at the game (which is most weekends these days).
