Erm, where's the match tonight, Stag Meadow or Windsor & Eton FC?

The game's being played at Stag Meadow. Windsor & Eton actually play on Queen Elizabeth's exclusive polo field within the grounds of Windsor Castle. Ironic really as both after the horses have been on it, and when W&E play, it's covered in sh*t! (joke!). <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

 

Stag Meadow IS where Windsor & Eton play - what made you think it was different?

That's what made me ask. Is that out-of-date, or did I read it wrong?

Thats correct, as said earlier Stag meadow is W&E's ground.

[sarcasm on]No, it actually went ahead. The clubs actually preferred to have it in front of as few a people as possible so that absolutely no money came in through the turnstiles for the match. Slough won an entertaining game 16-12.[sarcasm off]

In my back garden. The light from the kitchen made visibility a bit difficult down the far end.

The attendance of three people, done on head count rather than paying customers (as nobody paid), was significantly higher than a Windsor first team match as well.

Due to exceptional demand from my neighbours, Dave and his merry men were handing out programmes faster than they could be printed. The tea was still minging though.

Oddly enough no, not on the shed at least. He was hanging from the guttering.
