There have been a few comments recently regarding Chopper's recent performances. Last night was not all down to him and our defence left him with three one on ones in the first 20 mins. In the few years since we formed, he has been our best and most consistant player. Without him, it is doubtful whether we would have won what we have won and maybe, we would not even be where we are now. All players have dips in form from time to time. In my memory, this has been his first in four and a half years. He is just about the best shot stopper and generally the best keeper in this division. Let's give him our support.

 

COME ON CHOPPER - TOWNERS NUMBER 1!!!!!

Hi Guys- just want to say as a fellow keeper ( loosest use of the term) I am not normally one of the "union" I really don't rate a lot of keepers that I have come across during my time in Non League normally I am so into my game I don't give a toss about other goalies.

 

Chopper is an exeption and everytime I have played against him he has been a model of consitency, a great keeper and all round top bloke.

 

Whenever we played you chaps Big D would say that it would have to be a good goal to beat Andy and to keep crosses away from him as he would take them all day. ( Sod never says that about me!)

 

If any Towners doubt the ability of Chopper after a poor performance they should hang their heads in shame.

 

Remember Form is temporary - Class is permanant.

 

I will stop blowing smoke up his harris now.

 

He still has a dodgy Hairstyle and shocking choices of keepers kit. <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

Andy Hall is the best keeper i have ever played with.

in some games he left me spellbound with some of his saves.

He is a true enfield toen soldier and i dont beleive you would be where you are if it wasnt for him.

He is also a great bloke as you all know.
