Another one who to the outsider/ uninformed appaears to have been allowed to leave too easily and 'wish he was here now'.

 

I think i was in a small minority suggesting he was good enough.

Hindsight is great (I should have selected 8,14,19,28,29 & 48 for the lotto on Saturday!). However Rom didn't show that much class when he was with us - we needed a full back & had Kevin coaching him on the opposite side of the pitch to the dugout. OK he'd been Player of the Season at Carshalton the season before, but he had 5 clubs last season and still moved North of the border to rejoin Graham Roberts on limited wages.

Also yu've made a bit of an exaggeration about his influence on the game against Celtic MM, he was only on the pitch 8 minutes!

It was interesting to see a report on Roberts and how They had to do a Dario Gradi in close season. They invited anyone who thought they could play to the park and gave them a chance.
