It's finally arrived.........

My very first game as a Fleet fan has finally arrived.

 

I have to confess I felt like a glory seeker last season. While I wasn't at the celebrations on winning the Ryman league in person, I promise. my heart totally was.

 

Today will be a very special for me - win, lose or draw. Of course we will win!

 

I'm sure I'll have difficulty identifying the players but that sort of thing comes in time. I'm getting over to the Shay early to greet the lads off the coach when they arrive. There's another rail strike up here so I'm off by car. Since I live near the M62 it'll only take half-an-hour or so.

 

Good Luck to everyone - I'm looking forward to posting a small report on the game!

Hope you enjoy it....You may have picked the wrong day...lets hope not...If the 'Fleet' can prouce any sort of result today with the resources available they deserve a whole lot of credit.

I gather from Fordy's interview last night or should I say, partial interview), that we have 3 first year PASE lads on the bench - just shows how desperate things have got.

 

Still, we're always at our best with our backs to the wall, so heres hoping !

I know this bloke's a genuine supporter - he was on the other end of my mobile phone all the way through the long run in to last season & I heard his reaction when the final whistle went at Bedford!

 

He's just texted me to announce his arrival in Halifax - on his way to The Pump Rooms. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/beerchug.gif" alt="" /> I can't make it today. Hope the boys do it against all the odds. I know I'll be getting regular updates.

Just quick post to say. Totally robbery today! Who 'bunged' the linesman? Some of the off-sides were rediculous.

 

One thing for sure the Fleet boys play with passion every single ball was challenged for.

 

I'll post a more considered report later! I'm totally knackered.
