We did deserve a draw, but the game was no great advert for Conference football, Charlie worked hard and really should have scored, very surprised if he signs another contract with the kind of football we play he must be frustrated.

hello all, went to my first away game with the fleet yesterday and thoroughly enjoyed it, didnt know you wasn't allowed air horns at games, and had mine quickly confiscated, bummer, cost me a tenner! nevermind, had a great day out, look foward to more away games, see you at the next one.

Did you not get it back? You should have been allowed it back. Legally they can only confiscate it to prevent you from using it while in their ground but they must give it back when you leave. I think I'm right in most of what I said.

nice one fleet fanatic, first time ive seen a mod edit a post, with out abusive comments and it end up with a humourous ending/accepted and it be widely excepted, but we all knew it is "tru" (i say to make the daggers fan feel at home, although i await the pedents <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/tongue.gif" alt="" />), they (the essex lot) seem to be unable to grasp basic concepts of english.

 

The 1st half we played poor, but the 2nd half e managed to match (although poorly) them and deserved a draw against them.

There are some things about the club he's impressed with though, given his inclusion of three team-mates in his NLP 'Dream Team' yesterday.

For the record, his choices were, quite understandably, Ross, Bobby and Craig.

Charlie's miss in the second half after a great run and pass from Jukebox was certainly a blow, given it's the sort of thing he'd normally put away. However, considering he's scored a dozen for us already this season, I think we'll allow him that one.
