Crap first half, better second half.

 

Moore should start, can't see why we persist with Coleman.

 

Only saw a bit of the scrap at the end but one that I was standing with says that Daish saw something that he wasn't happy with in the build up to their goal.

 

Didn't really see anything from the incident itself, just a bit of pushing.

 

We created a few chances in the second half and we worried them a bit as well. Challinor was up to his usual antics diving when he could but he was never really given the opportunity to do so.

 

Luke Moore looked impressive when he came on almost scoring with a diving header with Lee Protheroe providing the sort of cross Scott Gooding could only dream of.

 

Jukebox went on a good run from his own half to set up a glorious chance for Charlie Mac but it was wasted as he tried to chip the goalkeeper instead of just hitting the thing. Hodgson also had a chance but refused to shoot until he had five Exeter players in front of him and an impossible angle.

 

One thing that was consistent throughout the whole game though was the distribution of the ball by our players. They seem to think that the ball is on fire or is some sort of bomb and they must get rid out it as quickly as possible.

 

Our tactics now are keeping the ball away from our goal for as long as possible and snatch a point and maybe a late winner.

 

At the end the only players that made any real effort to come over and applaud the travelling fans were Proths and Skins. Same old faces then.
