The way I look at it, after Nathan Bunced returns, this is our squad and the positions, we have a lot of versitle players in there!

Davis - MC / MR

Seeby - DR / DL / DC / MC

Walshe - ML

 

That's 19 players, of which one is long term injured but should be back for the run-in. If I was looking for one more player I'd say another creative central player just in case we lose Davis and Cracknell for a game, if this player can also double up front (as our 4th striker) that would also be great.

We have an abundence of centre backs so I wouldn't be surprised to see Barnett go when Ben Martin returns. For finance v starts I wouldn't be surprsied to see Graham go as well but not while we're in the trophy as Walshe is cup tied, saying that it's good to have 3 quality wingers but I expect he's on a fair whack!

 

This squad can stay the pace and have a trophy run I think and Colin knows enough people for loans and short term deals if need be!

If we are going to make a serious challenge in this league, be it the title or the play offs, we are going to need all of the aforementioned. I, for one, will be amazed if Ben Martin is available for selection before the end of the season so that brings the playing squad down to 18, straightaway. From my understanding, he may be ready to play football possibly by sometime in March but he will still need to get himself properly match fit, first. As far as the wide positions are concerned, we do indeed have three quality players out there but regardless of injuries, there is also the looming threat of possible suspensions at vital times. Not a good idea. We need cover, be it Walshe or Graham.

 

I'm sure Sir Colin has it all in hand.
