...does anyone have any inside info as to what is happening next season re level Five? Rumours abound about the ESL merging with Kent and South Midlands leagues, making two divisions but nothing concrete as of yet.

If this is so and all clubs are interested then the differing divisions will surely be decided on finished positions this season, so will we be told soonest or as per the FA decide the outcome sometime just after Spain lift the World Cup....

I make you right Coupe, the goalposts should have been set a long time ago, having been with HX since R 3 and Div 1 N days, it's great to travel around London, not too far and see more grounds.

Of course last season we went further afield but the M25 appeals for next year. Of course nothing taken for granted.

I established a bit of a bond with Croydon Ath and not forgetting JR's mob at Dorking. Yeading was another of my favourites, of course they/ve gone up since the cup run.

Finally, not forgetting the likes of Flackwell Heath with their slope and Epsom who play at Banstead.

Good days and something to look forward to maybe, only about an hour from the 'ol Stadium.

The Kent League would be fun. We had some great trips down that way in the sixties and seventies.
