Canvey v Accrington Stanley - Saturday 7th January 2006

Squad for the game v Accrington Stanley has been announced via the Canvey website -

Potter, McKinney, Chenery, McGhee, Ward, Sterling,

Bimson, Sedgemore, Minton, Noto, Keeling, Clarke, Tait, Ibe, Hallett, Gregory, Lowes and Jay.

Duffy and Kennedy are suspended.

Hope that at last they will decide to play Lowes or Jay at some point during the game v Accrington. Both have been on the bench a few times in the Conference and it would be nice to see them finally get on at last.

I'd like to see at least one of them play tomorrow but especially Lee Jay, who for me lit up the 2nd half of the Dagenham game in the Essex Senior Cup when he came on. That lad looks as if he could be a real good un for sure.

Looking forward to tomorrow very much. If we can turn over the league leaders at home then we know for sure that we are going places... <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

COME ON CANVEY!!!

I`m sure if needed Lowes and Jay will do well for us but apart from the missing Duffy (Ward back in?) why change a side that we were all praising a few days ago just to fit players in.

Absolutely right there Ronin. I am sorry I was not specific, I did mean to say that I would like to see either introduced at sometime during the game, ie play as substitute to give a little experience at Conference level after they have both been on the bench a few times now. I certainly do not think that Jay or Lowes should start but hopefully either will get onto the pitch at sometime tomorrow.

Very much doubt it although both Grays and Southend are not playing today.

My apologies. Southend are away to Oldham today.
