Route Saturday

I prefer the train to Exeter. For the distance its a decent journey time.

However the Fleet will have to do without my services this week, as rather than the usual ie me dragging the others away from the bright lights of the London clubs down t'Fleet , I have been persuaded that the thrill of a 3rd round FA cup tie at a proper game! is what I need.

So although I will physically be in London, my mind will of course be on the more important matters at the real St James.

Up the Fleet and normal service will be resumed at Borehamwood next week.

As far as I remember the A303 had heavy roadworks on it at Ilminster and diversions were in place not so long ago. Maybe worth checking before you set off to allow extra time for the journey.

I have just checked the aa website, and there seem to be no roadworks on the A303. So it seems the run to Exeter should be clear. Excluding normal traffic hot spots of course.
