On the subject of old players returning, whatever did happen to the expected visit to Stonebridge Road by Kenny Burrett when Jacko actually passed his Club appearances record? The occasion was so low key you could have been forgiven for thinking it was just an ordinary game. This was in complete contrast to Jacko's '500' appearances game which was of course actually his 499th but fiddled to have the presentation made at a home game.
