All i wanted margate Fan was a reply, to you calling us armchair supporters. Wich i took exception to as i have also previously traveled far and wide for the team. I also helped to get the ground up to conf standered for promotion, with other's. I attended all last seasons game's at Ashford because i was lucky <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" /> to be able to. I applaud you for your support home and away this season. But please remember we ALL want the same thing. Some people slate certain player's, they can. Im sure it will affect them, possitively if not there not true sportsmen or women <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/blush.gif" alt="" />. Anyway lets give the team everything because there's not much else we can do.

Unfortunatly we sometimes have to agree to disagree. Everybody is entitled to their own opinion regardless of whether we agree or not. Margate has had ups and downs like any other team and we all know the fans that have stuck by them through the thick and the thin. I have,n't supported the team for long(I used to be known as eyeballsmissis) if I am being honest but I did spend most of my summer helping the development of the ground. I was amazed and totally shocked by the amount of people on this forum supporting the club yet only a few managed to help out during the development. I understand however that many do have other commitments.

Lets not fall into the trap of another 'forum war'. Do not critise and moan about people on this forum. We all do our bit, but we are all supporting the same team. Nobody is better than anybody else. Surely that should say it all.

st peter, why did you not read carefully what I said? I was not making blanket statements about all supporters. I was angry with a few who not only trashed the match before the game started, but who also have in large or small ways been niggling away with little snidey comments about being nice and talking to people for some considerable time now, and it is still going on. If you were not involved it was not directed at you in the slightest and if it has caused you distress then I am truly sorry.

I should not have responded like that, as it only set me up as even more of a target. By stopping posting I hoped it would go away. Instead it was picked on and set up as a lifesized thread devoted to me, and if you think that was wanted, needed or appreciated you are well deceived. And now it looks as if it will not go away. What should have been an exchange of opinions has become a futile, destructive competition with no winners, and we all lose something by perpetuating it.
