While none of us question your support, why is it you do not reply to people Who state you question there's. There you go a thread to you,(have to answer <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/ooo.gif" alt="" />) not being nasty. Im pro CK i would just like to know why you choose to ignore some people. We all want the same thing <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/confused.gif" alt="" />.

The fact is that we all are just as loyal and supportive but we have different opinions and different ways of expressing them. Ive been to more away games than Margate Fan has been to home and away as it wasnt long ago Margate Fan was "NewFan". So there's no need for the armchair fans comment which was Im sure directed to those of us who could not travel on Saturday afternoon. I think thats daft as I have never spoken to Margate Fan though she makes it known who she is so is recognisable.

 

As St Peter says we all support the club and we all care. Thats why we turn up and still watch in the hope that we will put in an improved performance. Its not always convenient to get to away games as things have to be prioritised in life and for some people they have to earn a living on some Saturdays, or cannot get off work in time to travel.

 

I think its great you and others give the team fantastic support at these away games but I needed to get this off my chest.

That is not correct. What got up my nose was that before a ball was hardly struck on Monday the hanging judges had already bad-mouthed a selection of players. Plus the sniping had already started against anything I might say after the game. Plus a comment was made that the performance was embarrassing from someone who had not seen it. If that was misunderstood then I apologise.

I have no quarrel with anyone who follows the team by road, rail, newspaper, radio, internet, or psychic medium.

It's the bitching that I hate.

And the fact is that I do not fundamentally disagree with people who want to being negative, but I am not like that and will not change to suit the ones who only want gloom and doom. So I am always going to argue that point. And the more the people who do not like that bitch and snipe, the firmer I will hold.

I have seen people hounded off this forum because they have expressed views counter to the biggest hitters. I have never tried to see anyone off, and in fact I make every effort not to be personal to anyone, or rude for that matter. I also attempt at times to lighten things up a bit and remind people that we should actually get pleasure from this peculiar thing called football.

I also think that this extreme negativity and the singling out of particular players for what amounts to persecution is not helping our results on the pitch, or the harmony of the club off it.

 

I guess that for now it's just my turn.

seaside steve, you seem to think that if you've not got a problem with the football club there must be something wrong with you.

 

MargateFan is one of the happiest, nicest margate fans I know, you could probably learn a bit from her in the art of smiling.

If you were referring to me June, though I probably think you werent but if you were & if you had read my particular posts on Saturday I said the RESULT was embarrassing,not the performance.I also said I couldnt comment ot the performance as I wasnt there.The result in itself says we didnt do well.We didnt need to be there to know that.I criticised CKs team selections BEFORE the game as did others from home and so it proved we were correct.

What the hell is wrong with commenting on players performances.They have names so we use them both when they are not putting it all in or when they are. Whats wrong with that.(I call you JUNE because thats your name).It shouldnt affect them in any way.It should if anything improve their performances.

I cannot understand why we ALL have to be "nice" about EVERYTHING and just accept "crap results" without commenting on why we think it went wrong. Is it a crime to be honest & open with our thoughts and beliefs. It should not be a negative thing at all to comment on results & performances and players abilities & efforts.In factI would say it was more damaging to fudge over the facts and try to ignore them. We are not persecuting players at all.But merely giving own opinions on how they play and perform. Like you June I and some others wont change either, just to accomodate.

You are the number one fan as far as I am concerned(& thats not a creeping remark either) & I dont like having to disagree with you.You are well respected by me and other members of the club. You are also very fortunate to be ABLE to get to away games but I for one will not be positive about negative attitudes by certain players and negative results because of those negative efforts.We all DO speak in different ways and so it should be healthy for debate but thats not why some say what they think to the negative.Despite what some of you say it is NOT doing any harm at all.

Theres no bitching going on just differences of opinions. Honest opinions. who do "moan" do "praise" when its deserved so we must not all be put into the catogory of consistent moaners. Unfortunutely the results and performances are so common lately that we continue to air our views to the negative and until they start putting it together we shall continue to speak our minds in this way.

This has been said many times now but despite our negative views as you all put it we all still do go to the next game that we are able to,we still applaud them when their names are called out(everyone one of them). We still encourage during the game we still applaud them when something good occurs & even when they fluff things etc etc so we are no different to others in that respect and our support is no different to yours and others who cannot bring themselves to express themselves in the way that we do. No problem with that but understand that we are not all the same.How many more times does this have to said. Us "armchair" fans as you call us are no different to the other, other that are different in expressing themselves.

There is no devide amongst our fans,we are all after the same thing regardless & long may that continue.

Long post again I know.I am not sorry for giving my views or posting long posts either.

Give in June, you have upset the loyal following who regularly watch away fixtures (and a few home games) through the updates on this site. So of course they know that Standen WILL BE SH!TE - that Taylor IS A WASTE OF TIME - that Brayley IS A GOD & that Chris IS LOSING THE PLOT.

I'm going to be missing the next few games Home & Away so I'm looking forward to getting this enlightenment.

this is all good banter i certainly have no personal issues with any one all are very welcome to their opinion.and yes mr kirby i do have a problem with the club its a bloody tragedy what has happened in the last 4 years and apart from a very basic temporary ground nothing is improving especially on the pitch and i honestly can never see the new groung beibg built.

Ha bloody ha,however,you are correct on all counts.Except that CK isnt losing the plot but merely making errors of judgement.
Its people like you who are going to be putting a devide between the fans who care and support in their own way, very much in the same way that you do,only differently.The goal is still the same for all. No need for sarcasm.

If you love this club so much,WHY do you always slag it off so much.Instead of posting on this fourm,WHY dont you go to the directors and tell them just where there going wrong...Maybe put yourself up as manager,because the way you talk,after 45 years of being a TRUE MFC fan you MUST be able to do a better job????..or am I asking TOO much.
