Tostao Kwashi

The Irish Independent reports today that Tostao Kwashi has signed for eircom League Premier Division champions (and my club;-)) St. Patrick's Athletic.

 

I've done my research on him - can anyone correct this or add to it? Are you loathe to let him go?

 

"...Tostao Fungai Kwashi, Zimbabwe international, from what i can read he's a tricky and pacey right winger, has played a lot of Conference football in England with Fisher Athletic and Gravesend and Northfleet. He's also played with CAPS United in Zimbabwe (under coach, not sure if this is a relation or not, Steve "The Dude" Kwashi) and although my Swedish ain't too good, I was with a Norwegian once and I think http://user.tninet.se/~irk945l/afrikanmaif.htm says that he was on trial with Mjallby. He also trialed with QPR and studied at the Greenwich School of Business."

Your right it will almost certainly be a free as he was on a 2 year deal wasn’t he. We wont even make a penny for him. This is all wrong, all wrong. I hope this is wrong and we are laughing about it this afternoon. Everyone loves Tostao how could he.

Why would it be a free transfer?? Surely, if he's on a Contract, we must receive recompense for that in the form of a fee from St Patricks?? That is, if the story is true of course - the club are normally good at passing on info, and I would think it unusual that it hasnt been confirmed to Dave as well (even alllowing for him being on way to work) <img src="/forums/images/icons/confused.gif" alt="" />
