Luke Moore

At least Im not in a minority then!

I honestly thought Coleman played pretty well. He was looking for scraps until Moore came on but held then line up AND was "very involved" during that fracas halfway through the first half. I always like a player who looks to get stuck in during a melee and he was in there pushing and shoving like a good 'un!

However I was a little disapointed to hear "the usual suspects" giving him a hard time, but there again if we signed Michael Owen people would probably complain about his lack of work rate!

I hope we keep hold of him I think we could do worse.

Daish should have played Moore from the start with Coleman.

Owing to all others being booted out, Moore is our reserve striker and as such should have started instead of Drury up front.

Players should not be played out of position, hopefully Daish will learn from this.

If Luke is not good enough to be the reserve striker then we need another one signed as we should have done in the summer.

Coleman battles away but like anyone who plays up front for us, he has to feed on long hopeful high balls which makes it difficult to judge the guys in a fair way.

The worry is that Charlie is following the road with us as with his career to date, ie great striker when he plays, but spends too much time on the treatment table !

As for the game, great to grab the 3 points, but apart from that still [****!!****] football. It can only get better !

Fair points from those defending Coleman - as I've said, his display at Crawley showed what he can do, and the service (or lack of it) is an important factor to be taken into account.

Also, I agree that it has to be Moore and Coleman up front if Charlie doesn't recover in time for Exeter - it is a little strange that Liam has given Moore such high praise, yet seems reluctant to play him at times (e.g. not starting him on Monday, not bringing him on at Burton when Charlie came off injured). Perhaps his display at Dagenham will change this state of affairs.

Nonetheless, it's still clear that we are woefully short of resources up front, particularly when you consider that Coleman is only a loanee.
