Fair play today - outplayed us again and deserved the points.

We could go on about the ref but to be honest we were shocking.

He made contact with a punch he threw at the other Grays defender, (Nutter I think it was) who had a pop at him for letting Hallett through on goal.

Similar to the Mark Graham/Ollie Adedeji, (Cheers Yellow!) incident for Aldershot at Billericay a couple of seasons ago.

Straight red-card for violent conduct, albiet towards his own team-mate.

yeah agree with Matt, I was behind that goal and after Hallett had got past the 2 defenders and hit the bar they seemed to blame each other and Stuart didnt think twice about throwing a pretty decent punch towards his mates! ! ! head with good contact. . . . the red card was inevitable, just a shame the other defender didnt fight back, you could have had both sent off.

10 men or 11 though Canvey outworked Grays over the 2 games and deserve the 6 points.

good memory Merv, . . seems as though if Ian has more than 3 pints, not only is he pissed but he just head butts people for no reason.

 

the real funny thing though is on that night you was a passenger in his car, and he had to drive you back to the island in such a state. . . . the good old days eh!
