A few to ponder about -

 

Dean Cracknell's powerful drive in the 1st minute at Thurrock.

 

Simon Martin's superb dink, from a seemingly impossible angle, over the goalie against Bognor.

 

Lee Clarke's 1st, a stunning half volley, against Eastbourne.

 

Tom Davis's 1st of three, a brilliant strike into the corner, against Yeading.

 

Lee Clarke's 2nd, a superbly driven chip over the goalie against Weymouth.

 

Matt Hann's goal, the fourth away at Dorchester.

 

For me, Matt's goal epitomised everything about the Saints this season. It was a superb team goal started by Bazza, who sent the ball out to Patrick Ada on the left at the back. There then followed a series of slick interpassing between Patrick and Scott Cousins along the line before a lay off inside from Scott to Nick Roddis, who drilled a pinpoint and perfectly weighted ball through the Dorchester defence to the edge of the box, where Matt Hann ghosted past the goalkeeper and a couple of defenders, before planting it low into the net. I doubt I have seen a better goal in a very long time.

I'm going for Simon's quality angled chip against Bognor. A fast counter-attack from the Saints, completed by a superb touch and well taken goal.

I didn't see Matty's against Dorch so have to go for Clarkey's run and chip against Weymouth - superb bit of skill made out of nothing.

Mattys goal for me as well, the last time we scored a team goal that good was Rob Smiths away at Billericay in the suspension season!

the only game i dont go to and its the best goal in a long time i will have to go for Clarkeys wonder goal against weymouth!
