RE players and the loan signings, in the summer when we were signing players from lower down the pyramid a lot of you seemed to be moaning because they were signed from "lesser" clubs than ourselves now we've signed players from higher up than us and your not happy.

Its the same with the Jacko is the saviour spoutings we get , the same were spouting his best days were behind him when he went to Dagenham and even more so when we signed him back.

IMHO - Legend as he is, but if Jacko's the answer I am not sure we are asking the right questions.

The thing I always notice about Jacko is, after games, when I go through which players had good or bad games, Jacko is always, without fail, in the 'good game' section. People constantly mention his commitment but, whilst this is an important asset, it masks his qualities as a right winger. He may not be as quick as he once was, but he is still one of he most accomplished passers, crossers and set-piece takers at the club.

Au contraire. I have never said that Scott is not a Conference quality player. Some of his performances earlier in the season were not up to Conference standard, in my opinion, and some of his errors have lead to opposition goals. But that goes for a lot of players - just look at Monday's game.

Before the Dagenham game I reiterated my view - to Jessica, James and others - that Scott is a quality player who had a poor run when he first joined the club. His performances in the games against Altrincham, Crawley, Morecambe and Burton were a major reason why we had three wins and a draw from those matches and he has worked hard and improved his game tremendously.

We all make mistakes - me more than most people - but it is how we recover by which we are measured. Whether Scott is a better option at the moment than Prothers is an issue for Liam and Liam alone to decide.

Whatever team he sends out, irrespective of any one else's views, deserves our wholehearted unqualified support. Move on.

(First sentence removed on the grounds of unneccessary personal abuse.)

Also, please seperate people's genuine personal comments on our players etc on this site from whether or not we wholeheartedly support the boys vocally on the day.

I do both and I'm sure most of the other guys are the same.

And don't be so condecending, we all know that Liam picks the side, but we don't have to agree with his decisions and as you will have read in these threads most don't!

Get back on the terraces man and extract yourself from the depths of the clubs backside!

I've seen all but 2 games this year and whilst not being poor all the time his lapses cost us dearly and are things we can do without. Plus he offers nothing in an attacking sense.

The best summing up I've seen thus far.

Brett Johnson had a header cleared off the line, and Charlie headed one straight at Roberts in the first half. But that was about it.

Apologies, Charles. I may have mixed up your comment with someone else's, but it was something you said in the Kettering game. You just seemed to not have much confidence or faith in him.

Anyway, keep up the good work.
