I would not say outstanding, he was OK and only OK, he missed some easy chances.

I will concede he plays a lot better up front than on the wing, he knocked down some lovely balls for Jason and I would like to see him given a chance in that role despite the fact I am probably his fiercest critic.
I will also concede at the start of the season I was saying Jason did not look all that and was not what I thought we needed at this level.

Is there anyone better at this level of holding the ball up and bringing the midfield into the game than Hallet, excellent strength and commitment. It must be great for the defence to know if you knock the ball out, someone is up there who will hold it and give you a chance to re group.

...and they did not know how to spell "having" or "avin" he said "lets be haven you". I have never seen a haven in Grays.

 

A couple of flats with Burberry wallpaper even a few hovells but no Havens.

Fantastic result and Keeling was outstanding.

 

A brilliant day and didn't even have to pay to get in as my mate got complimentary tickets from one of the Grays players, lol <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

 

One of those days that will live in the memory for a long time and I was proud of the way the Canvey fans got behind the team. Superb!!!

Is he deaf and stupid or what??

He kept signalling to the Grays fans that he did not know the score and when they told him he could not hear them. Thurrock hosted the darts championship, they were not that good though they missed Danny every time.

 

Keeling!!

I dont think he played!!

They kept looking for him but none of the Grays players could find him on the pitch.

 

Wardy!!

Formal complaint has been lodged!!

Mrs Burberry choked on her crack pipe when one of his clearances went through her squat window.

 

Hallet!!

He really is a miserable [****!!****]!!

No matter how they tried he would not swap shirts until after the game and even though it was their ball he would not let them have it.

 

Yellow Army!!

A formal complaint by Thurrock Council!!

The noise in the stadium was far louder than agreed in the building regulations.

 

Clarke!!

The FA are checking his registration!!

It cannot be the bloke who played last week.

 

Mc Ghee & Chenners!

Fell foul of the building regs!!

You are not allowed put a solid obstruction in the middle of a football pitch.

MOB Spot on mate.

 

What a peformance by every one in a yellow shirt and well done everyone supporting canvey in the stands, done the club proud again.

 

Everyone done well in a canvey short today but i must mention clark playing in an unorthodox strikers role, although looked low on confidnece infront of goal, caused thier defence problems all game and they couldnt handle him. He has come in for a bit of stick lately but he was superb today.

magnificent display yesterday by everyone players,staff,and supportters.the look on stimpsons face when they came out for the second half was magic,sure he's going to wind his lot up for next week.

never thought i'd say this but clarke had a good pity he did't bring his shooting boots.their goal was offside twice,never mind.

COME ON YOU YEELLLOOOWWWSSSS.
