ive been told the player your talking about is called joe,hes a fast left sided wingback and supposed to be a right hard case,well known in Essex football,was at west ham,i hear hes on his way to millwall though, is he staying or passing through

Coming back to player quality, i think its natural to have too high expectations of ones own team/players.

Simply because one wants the team you support to be world beaters.

Part of footballs appeal i think.

 

If we were top of league, we would be fretting about players not god enough for conf. south.

Its natural to seek constant improvement.

 

Then when they leave, you realise how good they are.

 

grass is always greener and all that.

 

I think Che (in 2003/4),Rocky,in particular last season, suffered unfair criticism.

Boy-don't we wish they were still at the gate.

 

Similar applies to Leberl (in 2002/3),possibly Porter from time to time.Then theres Akpo Sodge

 

Oddly, the ones who did not get too much criticism are the ones who may not be doing quite as well.

Clarke and Green come to mind.
