Hey stop knocking the keeper hes the only one signed on,if he is injured or leaves we will have to go look for another and who would want to play behind that back four. on average he keeps a clean sheet every 5 games.

Anon, I think your use of the word released is totally inacurate.

Darkey was at a higher club, yes, but he wasn't released he left for a club that was trying to build a side to take this division apart.

OK, it hasn't gone well by a long way but at the start of pre-season when taking into account the stats of all the players from previous seasons it looked like DC had put together a very strong squad.

Things are changing and the board are working with the management to try and turn this around.

What everyone needs to remember is that we may be 2nd bottom, we may be 12 points off safety BUT there are still 21 games to go. IF we can get players in, and I am sure we will, and they can do a job then great. While there is still a mathmatical chance of staying up lets be positive. All this negativity from the supporters gets transfered to the dressing room which isn't helping.

As for the previous comment about using the reserves, well, at the moment they are not good enough, but given another season there are some very good youngsters that will then be ready for this level of football. The decent ones we had have already been given their chance. Will Dunlop was unfortunate to get injured but shouild be available for Monday, Richie Wilson seems to have disappeared as did Omar Maqsood but he has now re-appeared.

What people have also got to remember is that when Gary and Eugene took over the reserves it was to build for the future not to provide a quick fix for the first team. They have been lucky to get hold of those couple of players that have made it to the first team in such a short space of time, but, ultimatley it was a long term plan to get decent young players into the first team.

Final Thought:-

Get off the boards / managements / players backs and start supporting them and if you are going to slate players either as a team or individually, then be man / woman enough to put your name to them!!

Unless we sign Conference Class players we are down! We're the worst side i've seen this season no passion, no creativity and no chance of staying up.

But it's still going to be a laugh to watch certain people claim we're going to be okay!

Mr Anonymous, Thank you for you valuable input on goalkeepers. Nice to know you know so much about that particular position and myself. The only problem is I don't remember being released from my old club. Perhaps your available for training nights and be able to correct what I'm doing wrong as you know so much. I look forward to seeing you at our next training session. Oh thank you for your support and confidence boost.

malc you talk about the fans being negative .how can we be positive??

something along the lines of...'well done lads ,you've won two games this season and you only lost 3-0 to slough.thats better than last year...and we still turn up thinking we might get something from every game...why???

the players need to give the fans something to shout about.3 points against walton on monday would be a start.and then 3 points in the game after, and perhaps the one after that??is it going to happen?i doubt it.

OK so we're 12 points behind, but we DO have 21 games left. 2 or 3 wins in quick succession will put us right back in it, and give the team a huge lift.

There are very few decent teams in this division and I can't see wht we can't pick up the points

Nearly all of the current team have higher league experience, and although you can pick holes and claim some are has beens, this is not really the case.

The team simply need some direction, and a formation that will be used for longer than a single game, Yes we've had injuries, but the team has not been allowed to develop any sort of playing style as the system is changed weekly.

I have seen alot of WEFC teams and the current players are way off from being the worst I've seen.

Thats easy to say but under Dave Carroll's leadership we've won 6 league games! 6 league games in over a year. And yet you expect us to get 2 or 3 wins on the trot when we've scored once in the league since the Leyton game! In the same time we have let in 21 goals! But the club seem to think we're going to turn the corner and yeah we'd all like to think that but face facts it just isn't going to happen with or without Dave Carroll unless we sign Wayne Rooney and John Terry and discover the next David Beckham!

Bring on the southern league div 1 next season!

There's nothing too much wrong with the management and the squad we have at the moment. The big problem is lack of confidence - resulting from a poor run at the start of the season - which was due to a series of injuries and suspensions.

When a team lacks confidence, the strikers don't expect to score and when they lose the ball they don't expect to see it for a while so they trudge back instead of running back with the defenders, so they get caught offside on the next break.

Midfielders don't like the responsibility of taking the ball forwards, and they don't challenge for losse balls for fear of leaving the defence exposed.

The keeper doesn't trust his defenders, the defenders don't trust the keeper, or the midfield, or each other for that matter.

All this side needs is a bit of stability in personnel, the same formation and tactics, a little bit of luck and a few decent results to get things started. The other thing they need is support from the fans, particularly on the terraces. No abuse, no scapegoating, and a bit of enthusiasm would go a long way.

While on the subject, just ignore anonymous posts. Anonymous writers tend to be dim-witted sexually inadequate nerds who you would cross the street to avoid on a rainy day. If you knew who these people are, you would automatically treat their blatherings with the utter contempt and indifference they deserve, so why get upset about it?

its a load of crap, the players dont believe in themselves and are more than happy to turn up get there money and go.... lets stop the wages till the end of the season and find out who stays, says it all when the first team played the reserve game and said to the reserves that there unbeaten run was coming to an end that night...

shove some of the reserves in whats the worst that can happen.....lose....that has been happning all season. then we will no if we have decent players and as for mal i think he is bang out of order to say that only the decent ones have had a chance... let me say that to be winning how the reserves are you have to be a decent player. it must be so hard for the reserves to watch the first team play when they no they would play better, not because they are better in talent cause the first team do have talent, but because they want it.... what has dave got to lose... he is already losing his job by playing the first team each week.

Sorry i miss quoted about not having another keeper {Ian Gardner} but cant see his name as a member of first team squad, not in stats, cant find his name only in ressie stats, no photo no subs no mention only Drake mentioned in 1sts. If hed signed on why not included in squad or is this another youngster for the future at least he shows promise along with a couple of others.Suggest DC plays his strongest side till its beyoned doubt then give the kids a try,and let him build for next two years as even in Divi's 1 they will require some experience.

Surely someone should put a stop to reserve team players posting so blatantly on the forum!!

What world do you live in where you could honestly think that using reserve team players is the answer to all our woes. On the contrary we need to get players with experience that can do a job for us for the rest of this season and hopefully keep us in the division.

Keep learning the game, son. You'll get a call when you're good enough.

Finally some one has hit the nail on the head. Player wise Windsor have some of the best players in the league how ever they have massively under performed hence why they are 2nd from bottom. I have seen a lot of games this season and it seems to me that the team lacks natural width and balance. Not only do the team look dis-organised the formation changes every week which has not helped the new players settle. As fans we need to be constructive and although the future looks bleek we must try to remain positive.

How ever let me ask this question..... how many other managers would still be in the job after so many poor performances and bad results?? I am Not wanting to just blame the manger here, i also feel there are a number of players that are there for money and nothing more.

With half the season behind us we need to make changes now before its too late. Non of the current team will stay if we go down, the club must come first as players will come and go. <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/boxing.gif" alt="" />
