What the hell was that at the end, my nan could of defended better and i hope Liam ripped into them in the changing room, that was horrible. We should of been in front by then as well.

Crawley is now going to be harder come Friday.

Why o why have we kept bradley johnson on loan he's crap, he was last week at thurrock and again this week. WHERE IS JAKO??

Ok so after shouting at the wall loudly I have calmed down enough to post on here . .. .. . I think!!

Gooding or Protheroe. I now know where my choice is. Im trying not to be clouded by one mistake, but I dont think Lee would have been the kind to naff up like that. How many times do we let Gooding cst us games?

Coleman won ONE header. Not good enough sorry. His first touch is worse than mine after 4 beers.

Why no Skinner and Jacko in a MUST win derby like this?!

SHOCKING defending at the end after dominating the second half!

Thoroughly C**P

I overheard Lee Protheroe talking to a friend at halftime during the East Thurrock game. 'I was suspended five weeks ago and haven't played since, I don't know why', neither do we Lee.

Scott Gooding, full-time, slow, with little ability, poor awareness of his surroundings. Lee Protheroe, part-time, faster, alert, aware of his surroundings. It doesn't take any working out Daish.

Omari Coleman, loan player, slow and inconspicuous. Did he actually play today? Adds nothing to the side. Extended loan and possibly offered a contract in January? I hope not, what a waste of money, Lincoln can keep him. We've no one to replace him, so is keeping him damage limitation?

So where are Skins and Jacko? More ability and dedication in those two players than ANY other players in the side.

Sodje gone, not as the club would have you believe, so that he can return to Charlton. But, because he didn't like being screamed, bawled and sworn at by the management, and who can blame him.

Face it Daish, you haven't got a clue. All the stories are true, you're an abusive bully boy, with little or no management ability. The style of football you train is boring and is too easily shown to be poor and shoddy.

Resign now, and take your pet monkey Kimble with you.

hehe!! Think you were!! During the first 10 minutes agreed, but after that he cam into his own and constantly passed correctly and accurately out to gooding spreading play from left to right. Nobody else had the sense to use the other half of the pitch!! oh well all opinions, i think we can agree it was S**T overall and will do the income no good with return custom and the manager no good with more abuse coming his way.

It seems the continued exile of the part timers could come back to haunt Daish.

Gooding was abject today he offers little going forward and the two mistakes today were criminal coupled with his lack of attention to his winger in the first half leading to the corner leading to the goal.

Coleman offers not threat at all up front, Charlie may as well play up there alone but seeing as all the other strikers (bar Moore) have been let go it leaves the manager in a difficult situation with him pretty much having to try and extend the loan of someone clearly not good enough. Signing him full time in January - no thanks.

Ross Smith needs to return to the side ASAP along with Jackson - what I feared would happen with all these loan players is happening, they have to play every game or they get recalled.

The attendance said it all today - 1300 on Boxing Day is a disgrace and on that display it'll be even worse on Friday.

Bowry and MacDonald were alright but if you don't give them the ball they can't impact the game.

As for Bowry not deserving a place in the side? Have a word with yourself Mike.

Just to echo others' thoughts - the two Johnsons aren't bad players, but neither contributed much today (unless you count Brett being turned inside out by Moore and slipping for the third goal), but how they keep Skins and Jacko out of the team on merit is beyond me.

It was a dire game up to the 87th minute anyway, it descended into farce after that.

Jacko was sick today from what I was told, but neither him nor Protheroe would have made the bench anyhow. Skins on the bench. It seems the Club has now made the transition to full-time football almost. It will be interesting to see how many part-time players will be around after the January transfer window.

As Jimmy says a crowd of what was it? 1391 for a Boxing Day Game is rubbish. Lets see what Friday's attendance is but surely the Club need to look once again at why "Joe" Public aren't attending. I've said my piece on this so will keep quiet.

Thought there were a few entertaining moments, notably the build up play to MacDonald's goal. Until the late goals thought we deserved a point.

It was announced at the start of the season that we would be making the gradual transition from part time to full time. By my calculation today, we had 10 full timers at the start, only Drury being part time. I included McCarthy as full time as i dont think he has another job. On boxing day gates of 1390 odd this is not sustainable. I would rather we dont plunder more money on full time players in the transfer window while off loading the part timers.. It was a mistake to offload Manny. Im sorry he didnt really get a look in probably because his face didnt fit as he was part time. We have no striker coverage, Moore is not ready and needs to add some bulk before he's true conference class, Coleman as added above doesnt look good enough and Bradley Johnson i think is poor. Brett Johnson is a decent player and its fair enough he's keeping out Skinner but all round today was pretty poor.

Firstly I thought our goal was pretty good and shows that when we get it out wide we can punish the opposition, and for most of the second half we looked as if we could knock one in.

However Drury was poor today, same for coleman. No excuses for the defenders today. I will never be able to understand how it happened, which is proably why i was so annoyed. Coupled with the fact we could have been ahead based on the chances in the second half. They weren't much better then us and as usual we got shoddy officials (although blame is firmy placed on those two mistakes)

Why does Roberts feel the need to roll around on the ground when Dagenham score ??....just confirms what we all think he is !!

...a disgrace to his team ! ( decorum prohibits me stating my true feelings about the #### !)

Regards,

Not only is he a fool(to put it lightly) with all hs prancing about, but he is hardly a decent keeper anymore. Which means that back on track and we can stick a few in at their place. I was hoping for at least 5 points from these three games. I think we are capable of a win on friday against Crawley and then get a result at Daggers.

I was sitting in the (2/3s empty) bar after the game trying to work out where it all went wrong. One word comes readily to mind.

PASSION

Where was the fighting spirit that we have seen from our teams over the past few years? That was what really hurt today. As far as I can see, the lack of urgency and commitment from the team is going to cause us real problems as the season carries on.

I dant mind losing if the team shows a bit of fight, but today we just rolled over an died.

Happy Bloody Christmas!

And I was one out on the 50/50 draw Arghhhhhhh!

That is certainly true. Although it is hard to deny that Bradley Johnson is a skilful player (his cross to Charlie for our goal being a prime example), he has nothing that Jacko hasn't got, and indeed he lacks Jacko's permanency and, possibly, his commitment. Brett is reasonable, but certainly no better than Skins, who will surely get bored of warming the bench very soon. If you're thinking of replacing anyone, try loaning a decent forward, like Sodje (oh yeah, I forgot, we let him go) to partner Old Macdonald, rather than playing dross like Omari Coleman, still living on a reasonable display against Crawley. I have nothing against Luke Moore, but he isn't good enough to start at the moment (he's scarcely capable of playing a few miutes at the end, not that doing that will make him a better player).

Unfortunately, Daish's obsession with sh*t full-time players has gone too far now. It is definitely true that talent like Charlie and Bobby will leave if they're surrounded by players of such low quality ('Clint' Gooding, for example), particularly Charlie, who, on current form, could be looking higher in order to further his career.

If you play poorly, the attendences too will be poor, particularly at £12 a game, as was expressed by a woeful Boxing Day turnout today.

Playing like we did today against Crawley on Friday or Dagenham in the return fixture on New Year's Day will lead to zero points over Christmas and a downward spiral in the new year. With several tough away fixtures in the Springtime, it could be squeeky bum time come then end of the season.

Regards,

I may be missing something but what true feelings to you have towards Tony? If you dont wish to state them here then I be happy for you to send me a message/email to tell me. We dont think he is a disgrace. Isnt a player allowed to be happy when his team scores? Especially after the last couple of months we have had. How many players do you know make the fans laugh while keeping a professional mind during play? How many players do you know provide class entertainment at end of season presentations? Not many! Tony is a legend for us and his skill and personality will be sorely missed when he retires. A note for you next time we meet- "sheep s*****r" isnt that original. Think of something else then maybe we will put the effort in to reply to your lousy chants. (we are usually louder than we was today. I think some of us were a little frail today hehe).

Moaning aside I think we can all agree that mince pies and turkey got the best of the players today. Sloppy game from both sides and your defence let the rest of the side down.

See you all on the 2nd!

lol, we lose and play crap and everyone is talking about relegation and Daish resigning. We will beat Daggers 4/5 nil on 2nd as it is ou turn to turn them over at Victoria Road(tongue in cheek). Seriously people, if our real supporters are this fickle, how do you expect the casuals to be? I've been holding out on posting my feelings for a while now, but I just hate how fickle some of you lot are on this board.

Rant aside....who actually made those two mistakes today? I could excuse one, but twice? was it the same person even? to much lager over christmas clouded my view at the far end.
