Indeed Steph. What is most shocking (to me) is how the fundementalists and extremists are pandered to. Instead of the rise-takers right to take the rise being defended, we have plays closed down, shops withdrawing DVD's from sale, and new "blasphemy" laws seriously discussed. For goodness' sake it's the 21st century!

 

Who can forget Malcom Muggeridge making a total ass of himself when trying to denounce The Life of Brian!

If you want to talk about blasphemy laws can someone please tell me why Madame Tausards has not been prosecuted. Their crib scene this year has the Beckhams as Mary and Joseph. If this happened in any other country there would be a bl**dy fatwah announced!

What a peculiar thing to do. Perhaps they are running out of figures and can't afford to make new ones? I'd have thought they'd have a Mary and Joseph in store to wheel out every Christmas!

 

Having said that I've always found Madame Taussard's a wierd idea anyway. Frankly I can't really see the point of it.
