Sammy back to K's?

I've spoken to one of my mates at work today who is a Kingstonian and apparently Sammy was seen leaving the K's ground last night. If he signs we'll be getting one their strikers in part exchange plus cash.

Cannot believe anyone would want to leave while they are still in the F.A.Cup spotlight.

But if it's true( and I am a big fan of his)we ought to put the biggest price possible on his transfer,so that no one would buy him.After all when he was injured last season,didn't we nurse him through it,when no-one else wanted him,there again there's not much loyalty in football.

I have to say that he's playing out of his skin-not like some one who wants to leave.Hopefully it's all rumours started by some disillusioned K's fan.

He's not going. Heard through the grapevine today, someone's spoken to him and it was the first he's heard about it and has no intention of leaving Slough.

 

Mind you, referring back to the above point about us getting a fee for anyone, I don't personally think we're entitled to one given our shortfalls of money in recent years. Until it's proven that this is no longer the case, and I fear it's still happening, it's breach of contract to those that are on contract.

I'd rather take the money and not some offcast striker for the k's and a bit of cash. We need the cash but we have hale and boot at the club as well as sammy. of course i dont want sammy to leave he is an awsome player but i dont think he would thrive in the top leagues. When Kingstonian were relegated, a lot of the fans blamed Sammy. Not the usual scenario for someone to return. <img src="/forums/images/icons/confused.gif" alt="" />

Sammy wasn't being played well, but then he wasn't being played upfront. We reaped the benefits of his play, but then don't forget, Boot looks like he's got an injury when he came off on Saturday, and this Saturday will be Hale's last game for a while as he's going to Australia for three weeks, so we'll need to keep hold of Sammy until at least Hale back should he want to go at all.

 

Don't think he'll be going anywhere, or any other of our players (Veli excepted for obvious reasons), until we are out of the cup.

We have heard that he is not going to Kingstonian and has not even had talks with them. Basically he does not know where the rumour came from and is staying at Slough
