Seasons Greetings to all my Fleet friends!

 

Good luck on Boxing Day! I see it's early kick offs for both 'The Fleet' and 'The Terriers'. I'll be taking the short trip to Rotherham Utd. and then on to my sisters in Barnsley for a family knees up! Should be a good day especially if Fleet beat 'The Daggers' and the Terriers get the train back on the track, after a decidedly dodgy spell.

 

I queued for Chelsea tickets for three and a half hours in the freezing cold on Monday morning. I didn't want to risk not being able to get through on the telephone. We sold our full allocation of 6,128 tickets inside seven hours, so I think it was wise move.

We're in the Shed End! There was a rumour that Chelsea would give us 4,000 more tickets if the first allocation sold quickly. Which we duely did but as it turns out, we've asked twice for more tickets and Chelsea have refused. So we then looked at a live beam back to the Galpharm but now the football league have refused. Good job I got a ticket!

Normal Saturday service until:

 

LAST TRAIN TO LONDON FROM GRAVESEND: 22.09

 

LAST TRAIN FROM CHARING CROSS: 21.52

 

There are slightly later trains as far as Dartford,

culminating in the 22.35 Charing Cross to Dartford.

 

I'm off after 10pm tonight and will remain so until 5th January. <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

At the risk of getting my head bitten off...would it be possible for the 0819 train to Rochester to arrive at Gravesend on time everyday? If it has to be late every other day then can the train at Strood (where I get off) on Platform 3 that goes to Maidstone West be held up until the train from Gravesend arrives?
