Predictions for Boxing Day

Getting back to on the field matters, this Monday we take on our local rivals Windsor, but how will we do?

 

I think there has been a general improvement of late and confidence within the side has no doubt been boosted with our victories against Bromley, Harrow and Leatherhead. However as we all know, we are one of the most inconsistent sides in the league and it all depends which team turns up.

 

We haven’t kept a clean sheet in the league since our first home league game of the season, our defensive line is now a little steadier with the addition of Steele and the improvement in performance of Avery, however I’m still not sure that's enough to lead us to think we will keep a clean sheet.

 

I'm more confident with our midfield and forward attacking options. Wilko has been outstanding of late and McCleary is beginning to impress now he has found is feet up front. If Hodges plays then in my mind we will score, if not then we may have to be more threatening and ensure we take advantage of all the chances that come our way, unlike last Monday.

 

Despite Windsor’s league position it would be foolish of us to think this game will be a push over, I’m expecting nothing less than a battling performance from Windsor, they will be out to prove a point.

 

Saying that, if we play to our potential I think we will win, I expect Windsor to score, but we will score more.

Depends on us really, if we play like we did 2nd half at Bromley id go 4-0 us if we play like we have done to lower league sides this season (last week not included) 3-0 windsor!

i think its supposed to be reasonably warm by normal standards on monday, about 5-8 degrees so little chance of snow dave! dont believe its supposed to rain either...
