To avoid any unpleasantness, I have scoured the Official Site & this message board and cannot find the answer to to the question I am about to ask:-

 

What time does the ground, and more importantly the bar, open on Boxing Day ?

I shall imagine if you get there for around 11 you wouldn't be to disappointed.

 

I don't think there is a definite answer; they just open them when they feel like it.

I have a few new people coming along again and may frequent the bar as well as the plough beforehand . . . . Will keep an eye out for people going in the ground and pop over then . . . Cant wait, need a fix of fleet football . . .

On the subject of opening times, is it true the Crawley game on 31st Dec is a 7.45 kick off? (unable to access official site at this time) If so, most if not all pubs in this locality will either be closed until after kick-off or will operate an ticket-only entry scheme, so most people and especially away fans can't get a pre-match pint from a pub. I presume the bar is to open at a resonable time and will be available to Crawley fans?
