Tonights game

Won 2-0 with a good performance. Tore them apart in the opening ten minutes and missed a couple of chances which we should have converted before the game evened itself out and they forced Masters into a smart save.

Comfortable win against in form opposition for us and we progress into the quarter finals.

Most comfortable win this season against a Leatherhead side who disappointed, and thought we would have had more trouble against.

Always felt that we were in control of the match, despite them missing an open goal. McCleary ran them ragged. Wilko excellent in midfield, Seedel with easily his best performance of the season by far (looked like last seasons player) and the back four looking the most comfortable it has been for some time.

Good solid performance, and a good turn-out for a midweek trip by our fans on a very cold evening.

Noteworthy performances from several players tonight......McCleary was excellent as was Wilko and Seedel but my MotM was Avery who looked very solid at the back.

A clean sheet victory for the first time this season and good support from a sizeable travelling Rebels contingent. Nice ground, great roof! A good night in all.

Thanks to Dom and Chris for minding Tom on the way down. And, for those Kirby navigation watchers, he was last seen heading onto a trading estate then driving up towards the station in Leatherhead!

I must admit, standing away from the crowd, there were times in the first half where it sounded like we actually had some decent vocal support, and with the addition of the cover in the second half, really sounded good.

Seems strange though that some songs are sung by all, others by a lot fewer? Certainly affected the volume...

thoroughly enjoyed the match tonight, well worth going... marcus and i both thought McCleary was MOTM by a country mile, although I also thought Wilko looked solid today.

Chant of the season goes to Russell for his 'ole ole, ole ole, ole ole, ole ole, ga-reth muh-clear-y'- Bravo that man!

Missed 4 chances in first ten minutes, how many of those would Hodges have put away? McCleary is something else, and as for Leatherhead, well i always like going there, nice little club, but i think they showed just how much of a difference there is between premiership and first division.

I also think Liam needs to see a doctor about that squawking noise he started making in the second half.
