Leon Gordon

I see that Leon Gordon scored another 2 goals today in the reserves 3-0 win. He seems to score fairly freely at this level but never gets called up for the 1st team squads etc. I wondered what was the feeling of those who watch the reserves regularly as to if in their opinion, Leon might be ready soon to take the next step up & perhaps play a couple of Nationwide League games?

 

Have also noted in a couple of away games that Leon has been allocated a squad number by Canvey and also that Lee Jay and Mitchell Lowes have too, yet these players are never listed in the Canvey home programmes. Anybody have any idea why this is?

When we were going through our Striker crisis last year Gordon made the bench on a few occassions and did come on in one game.

Any idea why the players have squad numbers away from home but not in the Canvey programme fellas?

Last year Leon Gordon, Jason Hallett & Steve Corbell were part of the first team squad, but only Jason has kept that status this year.
