Observation on game highlights

Just had a look at the Heybridge highlights.

 

Did we have an attack in the first half because there were none on the highlights?

 

It seemed that every time a ball was crossed into our box a Heybridge player won it.

 

Their goal came from a cross to our right back position where the marking was non-existant...again

 

It looked like Masters made some superb saves and but for him maybe we could have suffered a heavier defeat?

From what I can remember yesterday, we had about 2 chances on goal in the first chance. We were fighting against the wind and any ball kicked upwards towards the Heybridge end from a goal kick would bearly reach the half way line. Still this is hardly an excuse for not winning the ball when it came down.

 

Masters also kept us in the match at 1-0 and without him we could have quite easily lost 3 or 4 nil.

Hence why I gave Masters the MOTM. First half we didn't have a shot either on or off target. Woodruffe had a high looping cross which was about the most trouble we put the keeper under. Second half we had plenty of possession in their half, but struggled to create anything. Being totally honest, if we'd have got that goal at the end of the match, it would have been robbery!
