Bit puzzled here, AFF. Just wondered why are you even bothering to quiz OI on whether the figure was 'about right'? Surely you could see the difference between a ½ full and ¾ full ground. Every other Saints supporter could.

 

As as for nonsense spouted about travelling Hendon support the previous week or whenever, their 'home support' at actual home games somewhere between 120 and 150. I would be amazed if they took more than about 60 top whack to Kingsmeadow. What I can say, for certain, is that our travelling support, last Saturday, was well in excess of 200.

 

Good luck from me also to AFC Wimbledon, for the rest of the season.

I simply wanted to establish whether our friend from Wimbledon was at the game and whether he had the courage of his convictions to state that he felt that 1953 was 'about right'. He was and he did, if you see what I mean.
