Sorry mate have to defend them (a bit) here. Maybe some of the subbing and reporting is not of the highest quality, but compared to most regional papers, the actual coverage given to non-league football is second to none.

And considering the amount of clubs it has to cover too.

If they dropped or reduced the ever-increasing coverage of West Ham then perhaps the build up to our game would have been given a bit more profile.

Five pages now..it was two a few years back, but at least it has been pushed further back into the book....

Highlight this week was the back page scoop "Reed upsets old mate" which when you read it should have been headed "Recorder reporting of a non story upsets Eton Manor". It actually says "Mark did things the right way".

 

I bet emfc has a balanced view on this.
